2021, what a year. Every year since I started blogging my sessions, I have done a quick blog post to celebrate my clients. As 2022 approached I was so overwhelmed, and I let it slip! I finally got a free minute to throw something together and I am so glad I did! I always feel like my year was slow, and I barely did any sessions but then looking back, I see my year was full of smiles, emotion, and all the love.
I had soooo much fun this year! I started and ended with gorgeous snow sessions. I always forget how cold it is shooting in the snow, but my clients were troopers as usual! I'm kind of hoping we get a little snowstorm before we get our amazing Spring weather back, just so I can snap a few more photos.
I had the time of my life shooting this year, with so many different photographers from all over! Mloueez Photography, Keri Ciofolo Photography and I hosted a guided shootout in Utah featuring gowns by Little Dreamers Tutu's and it was amazing! I loved shooting with so many friends and wouldn't change it for the world. My Christmas Mini's, and a few other shoots were done with Richard D Photography. We made a great team and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to work with him.
I spent some time in Utah again, and I have to say it might be my favorite state! I have a feeling I'll be down south again this year though, so that might change.
Things have changed for me on a personal level, as well on a business level. I took some time off after my crazy spring, and decided to leave the studio downtown, that Melissa from Mloueez Photography and I shared. I wasn't there enough to justify staying, but I'm really missing it as I type this! Melissa and I are still close friends and it was always so much fun working together. I'm sure a lot of you have noticed I am now working part time at my favorite downtown shop, The Farmhouse. I have gotten a lot of questions as far as my photography business. I absolutely love working at The Farmhouse but have no fear... photography is still my number one priority, and I don't plan on slowing down any time soon! As a matter of fact, I have a ton of shoots planned for 2022.
Well enough of my rambling...sit back and relax while you check out my year. This is a mixture of client work, and personal projects as well as group shoots.
