As a Kingman, Arizona Child and Family Photographer, I am thrilled when it snows in the winter! Our little local mountain usually gets a few inches and everyone goes up to play. This year, I missed the good snow, so decided to drive out to Northern Arizona where the snow is a little bit fluffier. When we pulled up to this little spot on the side of the road, the wind was blowing and it had just started to snow again. It was pretty cold, with the wind chill, just 3 degrees. We had to be super quick, and take breaks in the car to warm up every 5 minutes or so. Besides the cold, I am beyond happy with how Josie's snow princess shoot went! The entire time I was shooting I was picturing Elsa from Disney's Frozen. Josie has always loved that movie and I thought this was the perfect shoot for her!

I can't wait for the next snow storm! I'm already thinking of new ideas for fun, snow shoots!
